Stumbled upon this cute spot after a day in Acadia. The Christmas decor in October was wild! The breakfast was a highlight—totally enjoyed the 'Christmas Morning' spread. The pool table and game rooms were fun for hanging out. Just a heads-up, the hallways feel a bit old and musty.

I enjoyed the comfortable room and beautiful grounds during my stay, which made it easy to explore the nearby Poland Spring Preservation Park, a quick stroll away at just about 1.5 km, and to visit the fascinating Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, just over 5 km from the hotel.

It was just a commendable fit for a lightning stop in Poland with very good value for money. The service at the buffet was marvelous, and our meals were quite enjoyable. Consider taking a short drive to the main resort for better dining options.

The Standard King Room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, which was a big plus. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, but the staff was super quick to help when I had issues. The room had a nice cozy feel, but it’s definitely showing its age. A bit more attention to updating things would really help.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, air conditioning, and a seasonal outdoor pool. On my first visit, the staff even helped me with a cold drink in the heat. I’m definitely coming back for a new year!
