Cute little surprise!
Stumbled upon this cute spot after a day in Acadia. The Christmas decor in October was wild! The breakfast was a highlight—totally enjoyed the 'Christmas Morning' spread. The pool table and game rooms were fun for hanging out. Just a heads-up, the hallways feel a bit old and musty.

Charming grounds but needs modern updates
The resort boasts beautiful grounds and a charming rustic vibe, enhanced by its historic architecture. However, the outdated amenities detract from the overall experience, as essentials like a more diverse breakfast menu and basic family-friendly features are lacking. The staff was friendly, making the stay pleasant despite these issues.

The Standard King Room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, which was a big plus. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, but the staff was super quick to help when I had issues. The room had a nice cozy feel, but it’s definitely showing its age. A bit more attention to updating things would really help.

Ideal for Families looking for a classic experience
We had a fantastic time at the evening concert on the lawn, and the patriotic band on Thursday was a real treat. The Mystery Theater was surprisingly entertaining. We had some good laughs with the family watching it
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but it felt worth it for what we got.
